New World School of the Arts has selected a new dean to lead its award-winning music program. Dr. Daniel Andai, an internationally acclaimed professor and performer, will begin in his new post this August when classes resume at the renowned arts conservatory. Dr. Andai brings a wealth of artistic, academic and administrative experience to NWSA, having held leadership positions across the nation. As the Dean of Music, Dr. Andai will serve as the chief academic and artistic officer for the Music Division of New World School of the Arts, overseeing administration of both the high school and college programs in Music. “As an alumn and former violin professor at the New World School of the Arts, I am honored to have the opportunity to once again work with my wonderful colleagues and the talented high school and college students as Dean of Music,” says Dr. Andai. “Being a native of the great City of Miami, I am proud of the values NWSA has shared with the community for over a quarter century, and I am committed to inspiring our future graduates to embrace those values and share them with the community for years to come!”
